Logo design and branding for Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)'s Medical Illustration department. The graphic incorporates a stylized Rod of Asclepius, the dominant symbol for medicine. The bottom portion of the staff has been transformed into a nibbed pen similar to that of Adobe's pen tool. This serves a twofold purpose, indicating the field's traditional roots as well as where it currently stands in terms of technological techniques. Color and typeface, meanwhile, were chosen to match that of RIT's overall branding.
